He listened to his customers years ago and started his business by delivering organically grown produce and specialty meats directly to homes and restaurants. It was popular and his customers suggested he operate open-air markets. He soon had markets in Florence, Hartsville, Myrtle Beach and his farm store in Timmonsville.
Now that pasture raised, grass fed, lamb, beef, chicken and organically grown produce are popular, Charlie is way ahead of the traditional grocery stores. As a U.S. Marine, he learned to work in teams. He put together a group of dairy, poultry and produce farmers that share his commitment to healthy foods and offers their quality products at his markets.
Charlie had the courage to be different and is now a local expert on the subject of healthy eating.
