Faces of Pee Dee

Dale and his family are Revolutionary War reenactors.

His daughter and granddaughter are pictured at left. Dale is a fascinating man who knows history. He and his family have participated in reenactments from Virginia to Florida for the past 20 years. He lives his part and strives to make every detail “period correct”.

Dale’s wife and daughter make the clothes or “kit” by hand and use fabrics consistent with the period. He is also a blacksmith and makes their cooking and eating utensils by hand just like it was done in the 1700’s.

Dale especially enjoys bringing history to life for young children.
